Wellbeing

Beaumaris Primary School would like to welcome our new counsellor Sabine Kallisch who is current supporting a range of students in our school.

There are many components to the welfare structure at BPS. The addition of a counsellor to support students at BPS is a positive step.

Sabine is an accredited Masters Level counsellor with a Diploma in Sensorimotor Art Therapy. She has over 6 years counselling experience working with children and young people in Primary and Secondary schools, as well as 10 years working as a youth worker in schools, not-for-profit organisations and local government. In each of these roles, the highlights have always been coming alongside young people and building positive relationships with them, affirming their strengths and helping them overcome challenges, so they can achieve their goals and create positive life narratives.

Sabine is passionate about early intervention and prevention and supporting young people to navigate their developmental stages, and is excited to be joining the Beaumaris Primary School community in this capacity.
