Market Day

- Year 9

Although this was a short term, it was a packed one for our Year 9 entrepreneurs with the learning focusing around the annual Market Day!

The team really upped the ante this year in terms of the complexity of the learning, with the budget per stall being increased to $50, no sponsorships which supported our critical and creative thinking, and the inaugural AL MERCATO newsletter. Students thrived in their groups in order to plan, create, finance their businesses, and sell their product/service. 

Thank you to everyone who helped out on the day but especially to:

- The tremendous extended Year 9 team working on the inquiry - Adam, Gabby, Keshia, Georgie, Peter C, Peter OB, Steph, and Mark, 

- Splendid support staff - Brayden, Alex, Aaron, Tyler, 

- Awesome admin staff - David, Kate S, Chloe, Sarah M,

- Lovely logistical and organised people - Tara, Deb C, Jo, Michael, John,

The MVP of the day Beck Gladman in her assistance with everything kitchen, cooking, and food safety!

As well as parents, carers, grandparents, and literally everyone that purchased something or came to support!

We already have reflected on the day and started to plan next year's Market day to be bigger and better!
