Zara Sutton , St Anne's College Advisory Council member

My name is Zara Stratton and I'm one of the newest round of Advisory Council members to be elected. I've been to a couple of meetings so far and starting to get a feel for things. I'm loving the chance to get involved with this fabulous school of ours, and looking forward to the years of growth we still have ahead.

Our little family consists of my husband Mark and I, our two daughters Alyssa (Grade 1) and Lily (Foundation in 2024), Lovey our Golden Retriever, a bird named Birdie, and a stack of fish whose names seem to change all the time.

I still feel like I'm new to the area, but we've now been in Kialla for over 8 years, having moved up from Melbourne. Mark is a Financial Planner and I look after the home. I'm soon to finish my bookkeeping studies which is really bizarre after spending a lot of years already working in the Accounting industry.

The girls both dance at U Can Dance - I'll be the one cheering loudest at their concerts! Alyssa and I are in for another season of soccer, I'm team manager for St Anne's Stars. Between that, swimming, Auskick and life in general, we manage to keep ourselves quite busy.

I thought about adding in a nice family photo here, but I went with our 'circus family'. It certainly feels a bit of a circus at times, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
