2024 School Review

We have been notified by the School Review Unit that our 2023 School Review is scheduled to take place in Term 3, 2024. A school reviewer will be allocated in August and will make contact with us by Week 5 of Term 1 2024, to organise dates for a preparation meeting and the school review. We will begin to prepare our pre-review self-evaluation (PRSE) on the School Planning Online Tool from Term 3, 2023.

At the start of next year we will begin our Review Methodology with our School Improvement Team(s) and all staff against FISO 2.0 and our SSP goals and targets. We have made significant progress towards our 2020-2024 SSP, despite interruptions from COVID-19 and challenges faced upon returning back to school, staffing shortages and our capital works program.

Annual Implementation Plan (AIP) 2023

The AIP documents the annual plan for school improvement priorities and provides purpose for all members of the school community as we work towards the goals set out in the four-year School Strategic Plan (SSP). The leadership team have aligned these key improvement strategies with those in our SSP and FISO 2.0 five core elements and 10 dimensions.

As part of our COVID-19 recovery, the 2023 AIP is focused around the Framework for Improving Student Outcomes and DE priorities of:

  1. Learning – Support both those who need extra support and those who have thrived to continue to extend their learning
  2. Wellbeing – Effectively mobilise available resources to support students’ wellbeing and mental health, especially the most vulnerable

2023 is the last full year of us delivering our four-year School Strategic Plan (SSP) prior to our next school review in 2024. This year we will begin our preparation for our school review against the Framework for Student Outcomes (FISO 2.0) and the VRQA minimum standards. We have already begun reviewing our compliance against all of our school-level policies and procedures required for school registration.
