State Swimming

I would like to wish all the very best to the 13 swimmers heading to the State Swimming Carnival in week 1 of next term. I am looking forward to hearing how they go. Thankyou to the parents who are taking the time to travel down to Melbourne to support our students.

House Cross Country

The House Cross Country was held with many pushing themselves to get their best time. Thanks to all the staff who pulled on their running shoes to assist on the morning of the event. Due to a computer issue I have been unable to release the results, however these will be announced in Week 1 next term.

GD Athletics

Last Friday a strong team of 84 students travelled to Portland in cold wet, windy conditions, however the weather cleared a little as we got closer to Portland. Although it continued to rain on and off, the wind did lessen making it a more pleasant day. Monivae started strongly with many first places in the early field events. We also saw some stand out runners on the track. Unfortunately, due to a software issue with the Little Athletics timing gates, they cut the program short, given that most schools had to travel. We were unable to compete the 200m, 16yo High Jump and 16- open relays. These eventwill be run early Term 2.
