Lunch Order Days & Uniform Stalls

The next dates for our Lunch Order Day and Uniform Stall will be communicated via the SkoolBag app once we confirm a suitable time.  A reminder to continue donating your preloved uniforms, and thank you to all the parents who have done so already. We ask that you simply donate uniform items that you would happily purchase for your own child, and please – NO SOCKS or JOCKS.

Thank you to all the wonderful P&F committee members and parent helpers who assisted with the Saint Fidelis' Feast Day lunch order and Uniform Stall last Friday. Your assistance is greatly appreciated! THANK YOU to Baker’s Delight Coburg who provided the pizza and buns for the lunch orders – the feedback from parent helpers was that the food was well received, great portion sizes and swallowed whole by the children😊

Mother’s Day Stall

The St. Fidelis Mother’s Day Stall is set for Wednesday 10th May. At this stall, students will have the opportunity to purchase the special women in their life a gift. The gifts range in price, from $1 to $7. We ask that you provide your child/ren with a bag to carry their gifts home in AND obviously money for their purchases.

This is such a special fundraiser that committee members, parent helpers and staff enjoy as we get to watch the thoughtful and smiling faces of the children as they select their perfect gifts. Thank you in advance for your support with this fundraiser.

Vinnie’s Winter Appeal

“The society of St Vincent de Paul is an international voluntary organisation in the Catholic Church, founded in 1833 for the sanctification of its members by personal service of the poor… the Vinnie’s winter appeal aims to provide emergency relief to people at risk and experiencing homelessness,” (wikipedia.org)

As Catholic people we aim to follow in the footsteps of such saints as ‘Saint Vincent De Paul’ who was canonised by the catholic church for preaching missions to the peasantry and for running charitable events to assist the poor. This year, over a 4-week period, we ask for your assistance in the collection of various items that will be donated to assist the homeless and those less fortunate than we are. 

Each grade level from Foundation to Year 6, will be asked to donate from a list of required items, which the P&F team (led by Josie Perri) will sort and organise for delivery to the St. Vincent De Paul Winter Appeal. You will receive a flyer with all the necessary information shortly, and we thank you in advance for your generosity with this not-for-profit appeal.

TERM 1 PROFIT SUMMARY

As you know, we had a very successful Term 1 at St. Fidelis. It was filled with various fundraising activities and events that brought the community together and also injected a substantial amount of funds into the school’s kitty. These funds will go directly to our children to support their learning, and to build and improve on their available resources and/or learning spaces.

THANK YOU to everyone for all of your efforts in Term 1. We know that at times we ask a lot of our parents, and we are very grateful (always) for any amount of time, effort and money you put into supporting our school community. Please see below for our Term 1 profit summary.
