Education in Faith

Education in Faith encompasses the following areas: Religious Education, Prayer, Liturgy and Sacraments.

Welcome back to yet another exciting term. This term our learners will engage in a variety of faith filled learning opportunities.

Saint Fidelis

Saint Fidelis is honored as a patron saint of lawyers, he was a lawyer before joining the Capuchin Order. He is also remembered for his commitment to education.  Saint Fidelis was a well-educated person, who had a deep respect for learning and knowledge. Saint Fidelis showed his love for God through prayer and fasting, while caring for his neighbors through preaching, writing, and the celebration of the sacraments. He showed particular care for the poor and sick.

Saint Fidelis' Feast Day:

As a catholic faith school community, we celebrated Saint Fidelis' feast day.  To celebrate this occasion the children attended mass and engaged in a fun activity day.  The day concluded with the children engaging in learning about St Fidelis our patron saint.

Eucharist workshop & celebration:

Our Year 4 children will be celebrating the Sacrament of Eucharist on the 18th of June at 11.00am at St Fidelis church. In preparation for this special celebration, parents/carers and children are invited to attend a Eucharist workshop via zoom facilitated by with Maria Forde. This workshop gives us the opportunity to engage with our child/ren and reflect on the importance of the sacrament and how as a family we can continue preparing our child/ren. The online workshop will take place on Thursday May the 18th at 7.00pm.

School/class Mass:

This term our children will be attending mass at allocated times. The following times have been allocated to each class. We invite parents and carers to join us in this celebration and to support your child/ren through their faith journey.
