Office Services

Stationary
All stationery must be purchased from Approved Suppliers, using a Purchase Order generated through COMPASS. Each Domain/Program area should maintain an appropriate stock of stationery for teacher requisites. It is recommended that Domains combine purchasing orders to mimimise shipping costs and maximise purchasing power through bulk prices. The General Office will provide paper for College-required exams and College publications.
Photocopying
Teachers are generally required to do their own photocopying, unless agreed to in consultation with the Business Manager. Photocopying amounts are allocated by the Domain Leader. Each teacher will be issued with their own photocopy card which can be used to do in-person photocopying or to release stored photocopies from a machine. Domain leaders can request for additional funds to staff cards and the amounts will be debited from the Domain budget. Individual staff members who wish to use photocopiers for personal/private use, may also add funds to their photocopy card. Photocopiers are located in Admin Block, Senior Learning Building and the Library.
Students will receive an individual photocopy key card and this can be used to do photocopying from any of the College machines.
Keys
Keys are allocated to staff for classrooms they are timetabled in and to their office. General classrooms in STEM. Middle, Technology, Gym/PAC use the original purple key. The Gym and PAC can also use a green or red key. The staff office and storeroom in the PAC requires a red key (limited distribution). All buildings use the new purple key. The Master key has a black cap.
Each key allocated is recorded in the key register for security purposes. Keys should be returned to the Business Manager when no longer required and the key register signed to acknowledge return. Staff absent from the College for a period of more than two weeks should hand all keys in to the Business Manager for safe-keeping. All staff, apart from Principal and Principal nominees, must hand their keys in at the end of each school year, to the General Office, for security over the long break.
For security purposes and to minimize loss/ theft, staff are asked not to leave keys on desks, tables or even in drawers (unless locked). Keys should be kept on your person at all times. Each replacement key lost or damaged due to staff negligence/carelessness will cost the staff member $60 to replace.
NB: Keys should never be given to students. This is a basic security measure and must never occur.
