Mothers Day

How lucky were we to have such beautiful weather for the Mothers Day breakfast on Thursday. A big thank you to Joanne Rees, Andy Rees, Rebecca Campbell, Sheree El-Jari, Amanda Phelan, Nathan Phelan and Allison Phelan that made the morning possible. We would also like to thank the Hospitality and Catering Group for helping with the coffee and hot chocolate on such a crisp morning. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who attended the morning, it was lovely to see all the smiling faces.

We hope all of the Mothers and Grandmothers enjoy the gifts they received from the Mothers Day stall. We had a fabulous group of mums helping your children carefully select gifts for you. A big thank you to Krystle Nasralla, Lauren Hewes, Connie Lagana, Nuthuni Fernando, Sally Penaluna, Allison Phelan, Natalia Presta, Mary Hanna, Tanya Nikolovski, Angela Vlasakakis, Rowena Lanteri and Sue Faulkner for their help with the stall. The children really do get a kick out of seeing you there on the day. 

We would like to congratulate Angela Vlasakakis for winning the Mothers Day raffle. We hope you enjoy all the goodies in the hamper!

A big thank you to the Gouskos family who donated the coffee,  Grbavac family who donated the eggs and Lakes Fresh Food Market in Taylors Lakes who donated the fruit to make all the goodies for everyone to enjoy.  A little help or a little donation makes a huge difference; so thank you!

Community Business Directory 2019 Fundraiser

Many families in the Aitken College community manage or own a business. Each year as a Fundraiser the Parents and Friends Association compile a community Business Directory to provide a way in which we can support local business. The 2019 Business Directory will take effect from the commencement of March for a 12 month period. Aitken families may purchase a space for $50.00 to promote and advertise their business. You can find the  Business Directory on the College website and in the newsletter. Please support this fundraiser by completing the form below and returning it to the Accounts Office with your payment.

Pre-loved Uniform Donations

If you have Aitken College uniform items at home that are no longer in use and are in wearable condition, we would love to have them. The Parents and Friends Association clean and iron the donated uniform items and re-sell them at our quarterly Pre-loved Uniform Sales with all the funds going back to the Parents and Friends Association fundraising account. The items can be dropped off in our clothing bin near the main Reception. Please remember that the items need to be in a wearable condition and we do not have a market for re-sale on Aitken socks.
