Parenting Seminar 2: 2019 'Surviving with Teenagers…' For All Parents

The second in our series of Parenting Seminars will be held on Tuesday 11 June. This time we will be presenting some very useful material on: 'Surviving with Teenagers'

Many parents are unsure how to deal with their children in a modern world as they begin to push the boundaries in their teenage years. However, there is much sound research and advice to reflect on which may well make the difference between a peaceful happy home, and  one in which conflict abounds. This seminar aims to assist parents in navigating these teenage years of rapid growth and expected freedoms. The challenges of raising children in our ever changing world is something that can be addressed with accurate information. This seminar will be appropriate for any parents, and perhaps especially for parents of pre-teens.

Please note: It will not be suitable for students or children to attend, but an adjacent room will be available for unsupervised childcare, should parents have no other options. Children will be safe there but will need to have material to keep them occupied. Any questions can be directed to me at the College on cward@aitkencollege.edu.au or the direct line: 9333 9213.

The Seminar will be held in Common Room 1, in the Senior School, or adjacent room depending on numbers. It will run from 7.30pm until 9.00pm. Please complete the attached slip and return it to the College to assist in planning for this Seminar.
