Community Reading Day

The Numurkah Community Reading Day will be held again this year – this is our 10th year running this great event, it will be held on

Children's Activities -

Numurkah Community Learning Centre 

Yoga Classes for Primary School Children

Sarah is a qualified children’s yoga instructor and through this class, will provide a fun and exciting introduction to yoga for primary school aged children.  Skills learned will include body awareness and movement, mindfulness, breathing techniques and relaxation.  These tools are invaluable to help children develop confidence, kindness and resilience.

Date:      Tuesday 17th July—18th September 

Time:     4.00pm – 4.45pm     

Cost:       $10 per session or $18 per family   

Venue:   Council Chambers

Ukelele Lessons  for  Children

Hans would like to offer lessons for school aged children  9 –15 years to learn how to play the Ukelele. Own Ukelele needed, discounts on instruments can be arranged with a Shepparton Music shop.  Minimum 5 students.

Date:      Thursday 19th July—20th Sept (10 weeks)

Time:      4pm—5pm                  Ages:      9—15 years                      

Cost:       $50.00 (10 x 1 hour sessions)
