WOMEN

This week started with a lovely loaf of bread passed to me over the fence and a cup of tea with our dear friend Palma Casonato. Palma was making deliveries near our place and took the time to call and make contact.
Of course we followed social distancing, but how nice it was to see a friendly face, not to mention the bread which was delicious. It made me reflect on our Club and what we share.
Like many of you I feel disappointed that the season is not going to take place, but I'm confident that we will be back. As well as the HV options outlined, there are also several other clubs keen to have some sort of spring/summer competition, so one way or another we will get some hockey in and TEM will run a suite of options regardless.
Along the way, the connections we have will keep us going while we wait to come out the other end. I hope everyone is keeping well and looking after themselves.
If you get a chance, take the opportunity to pass the a loaf of bread over someone's metaphorical back fence, and if you are feeling like you need a chat, don't be afraid to call out.
Looking forward to seeing everyone face to face as soon as we are able.
