Education Week Open Morning

Thursday 19th May

This year's Education Week celebrates 150 years of public education in Victoria. Every school, educator and student today continues the education story started in 1872 when Victoria became one of the first jurisdictions in the world to offer free, secular, compulsory education.

We acknowledge and celebrate a shared belief that every child deserves a high-quality education, regardless of background or economic circumstance. It is a belief worth acknowledging and celebrating, so come and celebrate with us at our Open Morning on Thursday 19th May from 9.30 - 10.30am.

Parents, carers, grandparents and special friends are invited to visit their child’s classroom,  participate in fun classroom activities and bring along a morning snack to enjoy together in their classrooms.

All visitors are to come to the Main Office area and will be directed to the appropriate section.

Pupil Free Day – Tuesday June 14th 2022

Teacher Professional Practice Days resume in Term 2 in line with the new Victorian Government Schools Agreement. The Education Department has recommended that schools hold their professional practice day on the same day for all staff by providing a pupil free day.

Concord School will have a whole school Professional Practice Day in Week 8 on Tuesday 14th June. Students will not attend school on this day.
