Creative Arts Week 2018

MDCX is Back for 2018! Once again we are celebrating the creative and cultural achievements of our students at Mater Dei, we are hosting our Creative Arts Week, including our MDCX and MaterBald Prize in Week 8 of this term. We begin our activities on Monday December 3 and finish on Friday 7 December.

We will be exhibiting students work from Years 7 - 11 and hopefully the return of the HSC works from this year. To compliment the exhibition we will have evening  performances on Thursday 6th of December which will culminate with the announcement of the MaterBald Prize prize winners as judged by a panel and also the People’s Choice Award voted on by you when visiting the MDCX Exhibition!

Staff and students are really excited about this event and this we plan to host a number of other creative, cultural and performance experiences for students such as lunchtime music performances, creative art, painting and Street art workshops, cultural foods at lunch, Drama workshops and so much more…

We endeavour to have a student driven approach and students we are really looking forward to the celebration of the students work and all they have achieved during 2018. We all look forward to seeing you there. More information will be available in our next Newsletter.
