Alleluia! He is risen!
I hope that Easter was a time for family, rest, and a reflection on the way you can live the Easter story of Jesus’ resurrection and hope in your daily life.
“Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus,
who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said."
(Mt 28: 5-6).
I wish to offer my thanks to everyone for supporting Frances Reynolds in my absence, for maintaining our school improvement agenda and for keeping our children safe.
It's great to be back and see our enrolments increase.
A special welcome to Harrison Dawes and his family to our school community.

School Assembly
Our School Assembly will be held on Fridays of odd school weeks at 2:20 pm in our school hall. We warmly welcome parents and friends of St Joseph's to help celebrate our children's success.
Warialda Show
We will be taking the children to preview the Warialda Show between recess and lunchtime on Friday, May the 6th. The children will be able to see their art entries on display and preview Sideshow Alley.
We wish Isabel and Katana all the best as they compete in various horse events.
Cross Country
We conducted our Cross Country as part of Friday sport this week. Children who meet the qualifying requirements will be invited to attend the Diocesan Cross Country in Barraba on May 6th.
NAPLAN Tests
Our Year 3 and 5 students are sitting for the Online NAPLAN Tests in Weeks 3 and 4.
All students need working headphones for these assessments. We wish you all the best!
Kinder 2023 Transition
We will be starting our Kinder 2023 Transition from Week 4. These will take place on the following days until 11:10 am. Please contact Lisa at the office for details.

Winter Uniform
Students have the option of continuing to wear their summer uniform for the first four weeks of Term 2. The winter uniform is to be worn from Monday the 23rd of May.
