Parents & Friends

🎂 The Cake Raffle is BACK!

The cake raffle is back on at Assembly - Wednesday (Juniors) and Friday (Seniors) with tickets available to purchase for 20cents each or 6 for $1.

Last week’s cake raffle raised $44.10

There will be a sign up sheet for Cake Raffle volunteers at the Office desk or if you can’t get to the Office to sign up but want to provide a cake/slice/biscuits one week please let me know and I can add your name to the roster.

And thank you to the parents who have already popped their name down!

🤝 Like to get involved with your child’s class? Want to help other parents feel more connected? We’re still looking for a few parent class reps. It’s not a difficult role - you will be given a class contact list to send out to the parents in your class, and you might like to organise a park catch up once a term. It can be as easy or involved as you want it to be. If you’re keen to find out more, please contact the office or myself.

♥️Thank you to the 5/6 Parents who stayed behind after Assembly on Friday for our Parent Catch Ups. It was great to see familiar faces and a few new faces too.

And a big thank you to Emily Harnett for helping with the set-up and clean up.

This week we have Grade 1/2 Parents Afternoon Tea on Wednesday 16th of February at 2:30pm and then Grade 3/4 Parents Morning Tea on Friday 18th February  at 9:30am.

🕵️‍♀️We are hoping to begin our Head Lice checks later this term. The Parent Managed Head Lice Program has been very successful in the past, but as the name suggests, we need *parents* to make it work. Mais Sukkar has kindly stepped up to co-ordinate the program again - thanks Mais!!

If you have a current Working With Children’s Check, are available 1-2 mornings a term, and are happy to be trained and provided with everything you’ll need, then please contact the Office or let Mais know. The more helpers we have, the quicker we get through the school and the faster we can stop lice spreading. It’s also a great way to chat with other parents too.
