Making Jesus Real Awards

Term 4

Each term, primary staff are asked to nominate a student or students whom they believe is living out a faith filled life and reflecting the values of Jesus. These nominations are proudly on display in the Primary school but also below for all to read.  

 

 

 

Kindergarten

Mrs Giudici nominates Merida Cane who shows the spirit of Jesus through being a vibrant and joyful class member. She is aware of the needs of others and is always keen to offer help when needed.

 

 

Mrs Giudici nominates Emma Tsz-Pui as she shows the spirit of Jesus through being a kind, gentle and helpful class member. She is aware of others and is quick to help her peers whenever she sees a need.

 

 

Prep

Mrs Row would like to nominate Leila Mahmoud.  She consistently demonstrates understanding, thoughtfulness and a willingness to help whenever she is called to. This is certainly showing the spirit of Jesus.

 

Mrs Row would like to nominate Parker Kelly in recognition of her wonderful, friendly efforts. Parker deeply cares for others and shows her compassion through words and actions.  This is in the manner of the spirit of Jesus.

 

 

 

Year 1

Mrs Reynolds nominates Sophie Alice for bringing the spirit of Jesus into her life by always being kind to others, demonstrating patience and kindness at all times.

 

 

Mrs Reynolds nominates Eliza Round for bringing the spirit of Jesus into her life and the classroom by always being polite and kind to those around her. 

 

 

 

Year 2

Mrs Wall nominates Maddi Docking as she shows the true “Spirit of Jesus” in her life and the classroom by speaking in a kind and caring manner with her classmates. Her gentle, quiet and inclusive nature adds much to the spirit of our classroom.  

 

Mrs Wall nominates Olive Hall as she shows the true “Spirit of Jesus” in our classroom.  Always offering to help her classmates and undertaking jobs without being prompted, making everyone's day brighter.  She is generous, patient and understanding. 

 

Year 3

Mrs Doust nominates Pippa Braithwaite.  She is a Spirit of Jesus star in Year 3. She has a welcoming smile and a kind heart. Pippa shows great resilience and fortitude when facing challenges.

 

 

Mrs Doust nominates Olivia Banks- Smith who shows the Spirit of Jesus when she helps others in the class, smiles her beautiful smile or shares her ideas with her classmates.

 

 

Year 4

Mrs Himson and Mrs Hall nominate Siska Hurd for showing the Spirit of Jesus in the ways she gently solves friendship problems and is a friend to all.

 

 

 

Mrs Himson and Mrs Hall nominate Grace Claxton for showing the Spirit of Jesus through her gentle and kind manner the way she smiles through all the ups and downs of the day.

 

 

Year 5 Navy

Mrs Cazaly and Ms Sluyters nominate Bronwyn Agius.  She is a shining example of the Spirit of Jesus. She offers her help and support to others with pure intentions and values how much, even a simple smile, can often make someone's day much better.

 

Mrs Cazaly and Ms Sluyters nominate Sienna   Gustafsson for making Jesus real in the lives of those around her.  Her gentle nature, her care for her peers and her teachers, as well as her innate sense of fairness are always on display.

 

 

Year 5 White

Mr Lowe nominates Elka Kuylaars, who is a shining example of the Spirit of Jesus. She is the first person to raise a hand to help others and is someone her peers can trust to support them when needed. She makes those around her feel safe, comfortable and needed. Her energetic and infectious personality lights up the classroom and brings joy to others.

 

Mr Lowe nominates Abbie Duffey, who is a shining example of the Spirit of Jesus. She is someone her peers can trust to support them when needed in any way possible.  Abbie is respectful and makes those around her feel cared for. Her cheerful attitude makes the classroom a delight to be a part of. 

 

Year 6 Navy

Miss Reid would like to nominate Matilda Wiggins for bringing the Spirit of Jesus into 6 Navy by treating all of her peers with kindness and a friendly smile.  Her cheerful demeanor brings sunshine to our classroom. 

 

 

Miss Reid would like to nominate Elka King for demonstrating resilience in the face of challenges.  Elka’s positive attitude and continued kindness to others in the face of hardship is a shining example of the Spirit of Jesus. 

 

 

Year 6 White

Mrs Cazaly and Mr Wierenga nominate Tayla Round as a worthy recipient for The Spirit of Jesus award. Tayla is a gentle, kind-hearted young lady who always considers the feelings of others before she speaks and readily extends friendship and support unconditionally.
