School Concert

Preparations for our 2022 Connections! the concert is in full swing!

The Stomp! dance lessons are proving to be very engaging and the students are also doing well, learning to sing their songs.

The audio tracks and lyrics for each song can be found on the Performing Arts Page of the Kingswood Hub, giving students opportunities to practice at home if they would like. 

Connections! Design Program Competition is open to all students from Prep-Year 6. The design must be hand-drawn and include the word 'Connections'. The entry form can be found in the Compass Newsfeed. There will be a winner selected from both the Junior School (Prep - 2) and Senior School (Years 3 - 6) and the winning designs will be used to promote the concert. Entries close Wednesday 2nd March.

 There will be two casts of Prep to Year 5 students.

Year 6 students will have the very special role of dancing the finale as a cohort group and will perform across both casts, thus being in all 4 concerts.

The Year 6 students who successfully auditioned for acting roles in this concert are busily rehearsing on Thursday lunchtimes. 

Concerts for Cast A 

Monday 4th April  6.30pm – 7.45pm. 

Tuesday 5th April  6.30pm – 7.45pm.  

Concerts for Cast B 

Wednesday 6th April  6.30pm – 7.45pm. 

Thursday 7th April  6.30pm – 7.45pm. 

Dress rehearsals will be on Monday 4th and Wednesday 6th so that each cast can watch the other’s concert.
