Wellbeing Officer

From the Wellbeing Officer...

Hello to all children and families! My name is Kathryn Muggeridge, and I am joining your beautiful school community as your new Well Being Officer at Weeden Heights. I have been hearing from Ms Campbell all about your school, and I can't wait to meet all of you when we can come back!

Before I came to Weeden Heights, I trained as a primary school teacher, and taught IT and year 2 children at a school in Surrey Hills. Since then, my husband and I have 4 sweet children; Georgia 19, Amy 17, Ruby 13 and Andrew 11. We have a pet cockatiel called Sunny who is way too loud! To balance out Sunny, we also have 6 tropical fish...who are very sweet, but like to nibble my fingers when I feed them. Naughty! They don't have names yet, but perhaps some of you could help me to name them sometime.

I have been working at Crossway Baptist church in the children and families department for 3 years now, and I am so excited to be joining you all when we resume classes very soon! I would love to be able to have some great lunchtime activities running during lunchtimes when we come back to school, so if you have some ideas of things that we can do, I would love it if you could let me know!
