Extra Curricular Activities - Premier's Reading Challenge

This year 35 students participated in the Premier's Reading Challenge, as of Thursday morning 19 have successfully completed the challenge. This means that the students from Prep to Grade 2 have read 30 picture books and the Grade 3 to 6 students have read 15 novels. A great achievement.

If you still need to record more reading for your child please have this uploaded by tomorrow so that I can verify their reading and they receive the certificate from the Premier's Office.

Extra Curricular Activities - Academic Competitions

We have had 25 students participate in the NSW Academic Competitions, that cover a variety of curriculum areas and 12 in The Australian Maths Competition. These competitions are eagerly responded to each year, and we wish the students luck in their achievements.

Book Week

It was wonderful to be able to celebrate Book Week again last week. The Dress Up Parade on Friday was enjoyed by all, as was the special themed tuckshop. Thank you to all the families for purchasing from the Book Fair this has raised approx. $2000 for the school to purchase books for the library.
