LIBRARY

Last week we celebrated Book Week in the library and around the school. Our theme was Alice in Wonderland in keeping with this year's School Production. We had a daily book-themed quiz, a 'Guess the book in the bottle' competition, a Black-Out poetry workshop and a Kahoot. 

Our big day was on Friday, when we invited our most prolific readers to join the librarians for a Mad Hatter's Tea Party. We enjoyed tea and biscuits while discussing books. We also asked staff to get involved by dressing up as a book character or writing their favourite book on a label and wearing it for the day. 

We hope it inspired some book related conversations.
