Flinders University

Open Days

Lauren Buswell, Student Wellbeing Leader

On Friday 12 August Aberfoyle Park High School were involved in taking a number of year 10 and 11 students to Flinders University for their Open Day.

This was the first time in two years that Flinders was able to run this day and they did a fantastic job. Students were exposed to lots of different industries and degrees through information lectures, tours and interactive presentations including blood splatter forensics, archaeology digs and persuasive marketing techniques. The weather held off for most of the day, so students were able to fully experience Flinders University.

The aim of this day was to support students in making decisions for their subject choices

for year 11 and 12 and pathway options.
