Spanish Excursion

Student, Kiera Tyler

On Tuesday 23 August, members of Ms Puyo’s year 9 Spanish class and Mr Bell’s year 8 Spanish class attended a school excursion to Willunga High School.

We played fun games, learnt new Spanish terminology and made new friends with students from Willunga and Seaford High School. They also made us Alfajores, a traditional Spanish biscuit. Many people said they like the sweetness of it and it was really nice.

It was an amazing experience, and we came away from it with a new perspective on our learning. We had a guest who came to teach us styles of Latin dance, and it was really fun.

We are grateful to Ms Puyo for organising the event and for offering us such a great opportunity.
