What a wonderful night we had last night at the 4-6 concert! It was wonderful to have so many families on site to celebrate the learning. I also must say this year's back stage crew excelled themselves and were a great help to Ms Beven. We gave 3 cheers to Ms Beven at assembly today to thank her for going above and beyond with concert preparation.
Year 5 are off today representing our school at an Inter-School Cricket Gala. We know they will be well prepared as they and all the Year 2-6 have had excellent coaching from Cricket NT's Mick Gill for this term. There is information on our Facebook page if your child has enjoyed cricket and would like to sign up for club cricket this Saturday at Yeperenye Shopping Centre.
The Village enjoyed a camp out this week at Discovery Caravan Park. There were smiling faces and happy tales when I visited them with their dinner and breakfast. Thanks to the staff and parents involved for all their efforts to make this a fantastic learning experience for all.
The Book Fair has been lively this week with lots of families stopping past. Did you know that 30% of sales from the Book Fair go straight back to our library and increase the quality of our collection? Thank you to the families who have purchased books for St Anthony’s School in Timor,e have been gathering our offering all term to support them and next Wednesday in lieu of offering we are asking students to bring a book and we will send these to Timor.
2023 is fast approaching. We are currently looking at resourcing for next year and need your assistance in our planning. A letter will go home today asking you to signal your families intentions for 2023. The letter reminds us that one full terms notice is required when departing Living Waters or you will be charged for one term. Meaning if you are not planning to return in 2023 you would need to advise us by next Thursday 22 September to avoid being billed for Term 1 2023.
This is our last newsletter for this term and I wish all our community a safe restful break. At a recent retreat we looked at how the Psalms are songs for travelling and so I’ll leave you with this song for any travels you may do this holiday. “ The Lord will keep you from all harm- he will watch over your life: the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore."

Today at assembly we had an amazing performance of "I am Australian" in AUSLAN by 4A and a visit from Royal Life Saving NT and Boof the barramundi.
