Year 7 Transition

We were delighted to host our new Year 7 students for 2023, their families and school representatives for a school tour and meet and greet this week. We had 20 visitors in total and it was lovely to put faces to names over a cup of coffee and a biscuit. It was a wonderful opportunity for both students and families to get to know our school little bit better before formally starting their transition program early Term 4.  Our newly enrolled and current Year 6/7 cohort will partake in four taster days over the course of the term where they will get to experience life as a high school student.

TEEN CONNECT

It is fantastic to see secondary students enjoy and engage in conversation at Teen Connect led by Mr Michael Wong-See and Mr Liam Low. PBL class winners for the fortnight receive a milkshake, ice-block, or popcorn at the Shake Bar. Miss Krissie guides students to make the delicious milkshakes and popcorn each week.

The 'wheel of names' is used to select who asks a question. Mr Wong-See has made up conversation cards which has sparked some interesting answers!
