Science @ Clyde

It is wonderful to see the positive way that students and staff have engaged with remote learning under our current circumstances. We are especially proud of your sons and daughters and how well they have participated in class and demonstrating such a great work ethic working the various activities and online resources that not only in science but also in school in general.

Students in 7-10 have been using Stile, a new online Science resource, for which we can see instantly what work they are working on and support them live with their science learning. We can even jump into the task individual students are working on but assist them live in any task that needs explaining or is at all difficult. Our ILC staff join our Zoom meetings to assist students and can jump into Break-out rooms working separately for certain activities and get additional support where needed. The level of positivity and engagement is outstanding.

As Head of Science I would very much like to thank you as parents for your support of your son’s or daughter’s learning at home and understand how difficult it must be for you.
