Year 3/4 Camp

A time filled with Adventure

“It was the best time I’ve had in my whole life”

“Can we do this again next week?’

“I want to be there every day!

These are just a few of the happy comments made by the Year 3’s and 4’s about our recent time on camp.

We packed our bags and left school Monday of this week and headed to Mylor Adventure Camp.

For many, this was the first time leaving mum and dad. We faced challenges, tried new and exciting things and had lots of laughs!

Some of the activities we experienced were rock climbing, bouldering wall, crate stacking, Raft making, Frisbee golf, a scavenger hunt and the highlight of the camp, was the GIANT SWING! The children were geared up with a harness and helmet, lifted over 12 meters into the air and flown through the air like a big pendulum. Wow – what courage!

We enjoyed indoor games and a super big bonfire to end our day.

What an adventurous, fun filled time we had! We made memories and will talk about our stories for months to come.
