looking after
our environment!
As part of our school's commitment to sustainability, all students will be participating in National Clean Up Australia Day on Friday 5th March.
Year 5 & 6 students have a special opportunity to contribute to the community and improve their local environment. Students will walk to our local park, Balcombe Reserve on Landscape Drive, to help collect litter. There will be a safety briefing and supervision by classroom teachers, the sustainability co-ordinator and support staff. Students without permission will participate in Clean Up Australia on the school grounds.
Gardening gloves and tongs will be provided, however students are encouraged to bring their own gardening gloves from home.
