Meet & Greet

Thank you very much to all the 2/3 families or your time, patience, and understanding during Meet and Greet last night. It was great to see you all families and meet those we have not yet met to discuss how we can best support your child with their learning this year.  It was a quick 10-minute chat but we hope we have answered some questions and we are available via Sentral and Seesaw for any further communication. We are really pleased to see how hard the students are working this year and how quickly they have adjusted to the new learning environment. 

Los Exploradores!

We have had a fantastic introduction to Los Exploradores over the past fortnight. Last week students used their senses to identify the sounds, smells, sights and touch of the Merri Creek Trail. This week students sketched and labelled different scenes of what they saw at the creek. Back in class, we did a gallery walk to observe others' work and had a reflection on what we observed about this magnificent natural environment so close to our school! We are excited to continue this program every Tuesday during session 5. 

The Happiness Habit

On Wednesday we can our Happiness Habit Incursion. The performance used positive op music, singing and dancing to encourage confidence, resilience and kindness in students.
