Among the new staff welcomed to Blue Mountains Grammar School this year was Ms Jacqueline Pugh who has joined Senior School staff in the role of Director - Teaching & Learning.

Ms Pugh joins the School Executive, most recently from Fintona Girls School; one of Melbourne’s top academic schools. Before that Ms Pugh was an academic leader at Oxley College in Bowral, also an outstanding academic school and one of our ISA sporting rivals. 

Ms Pugh, who holds a Masters of Instructional Leadership (Melbourne University) and who has worked alongside world experts in educational research, brings with her tremendous experience in academic roles and a wonderful pedigree in the implementation of Professor David Hattie’s research in Visible Learning. 

Ms Pugh has addressed conferences on the implementation of Visible Learning and using data to improve academic results.

In her spare time, Ms Pugh enjoys her own personal art practice, visiting galleries, camping, bushwalking and spending time with her three adult children.
