On the 11th of February the Parents and Friends Committee of Brookside held their first meeting for the year. It was wonderful to see new and old faces and start to re-establish the committee for a new year.  We talked about the culture we wished to create in our 2021 team, so here are some words that came up!

We hope that inspired you to join us.  We would love to welcome more members into our group!  The minutes from the meetings are published and shared with the community on Compass. Please take the time to have a look if you are interest and join us in the future at any time, we recruit all year long!

Our meeting dates for the year are as follows, and if you cannot join us onsite, you can always ‘Zoom’ in or stay in touch though the minutes and volunteer as a helping hand at events through the year:

The PFC is often asked about school uniform Buy, Sell, Swap opportunities.  Unfortunately, we are not able to facilitate this, however, here are some links to sites that our community have used in the past:

You are welcome to organise your own buy, sell, swap of uniforms between the seller and purchaser to meet on school grounds when you drop off or collect your child at school times.  Unfortunately, we cannot facilitate those exchanges for you. 

Feel free to get in contact with us via email (Elizabeth or Sarah) or speak to any one of our members.  We’ll share their roles and responsibilities, and put a face to the name after our AGM… where we hope to see you too!
