Hardy Shield

Kildare has began its Hardy Shield campaign with games against Mater Dei and Kooringal High School. In Week 1 of the competition we defeated MDCC 22 to 4. A  scrappy game that allowed us to try a few different combinations to build for the Kooringal game in Week 2 where we had a convincing win 32 to 10. All members of the playing group have made excellent contributions to the team and the starting 13 and extended squad of 20 for the semi final will be very difficult to pick. We play our Semi Final against Mater Dei Catholic College on Monday 22nd at 5.30pm at Paramore Park. Spectators are allowed to attend this event as long as they sign on via the QR code at the gate and social distancing practices are observed.
