BISSA Swimming Carnival

On the 4th of March 39 students competed at the BISSA Swimming Carnival at the Oasis. All students represented the Kildare exceptionally well.

 

Some outstanding achievements included:

Lilly Holtorf finished second in the 100m freestyle, 50m breaststroke,  50m butterfly, 50m freestyle, 200IM, 50m back stroke (Runner up Open Girls Age Champion).

 

Isaac Mooney 1st in the 100m freestyle ,50m butterfly, 50m freestyle, 200IM, 50m backstroke, 2nd in 50m breaststroke (16 Years Boys Age Champion).

 

Bridget Stephens 1st in 50m butterfly, 50m back stroke 2nd in 100m free, 50m breaststroke, 50m freestyle.

 

Millie Mckenzie 1st in the 50m breaststroke, 2nd 50m butterfly, 50m freestyle, 200IM, 50m breaststroke, (Runner up 14 Years Girls Age Champion).

 

Lachlan Walsh 1st 50m butterfly, 50m backstroke, 2nd in 100m freestyle, 3rd 50m freestyle, (3rd 12 Years Boys Age Champion).

 

Riley Bradshaw 1st 50m freestyle, 50m backstroke, 2nd in 100m free, 50m breaststroke

Olivia Cecchini 1st 50m backstroke, 2nd in 100m freestyle, 50m freestyle.

 

Rusty Kenningale 2nd 50m freestyle, 3rd in 50m breaststroke, 50m butterfly.

 

Addison Pope 3rd in 50m breaststroke.

 

Bill Walker 1st 50m freestyle.

 

Charlotte Seghers 2nd Junior Diving.

 

15 Years boys and 13 Years girls relay finished 1st.

 

15 Years girls relay 2nd.

 

14 Years girls and 13 Years boys relay 3rd.

 

Congratulations to the following ten students who will compete at Homebush in the CCC Swimming Championships on the 29th of March. Lilly Holtorf, Isaac Mooney, Bridget Stephens, Millie Mckenzie, Lachlan Walsh, Riley Bradshaw, Olivia Cecchini, Rusty Kenningale, Bill Walker, and Charlotte Seghers.
