Hello and welcome (back) to the wonderful families at Woodend Primary.

The canteen is open on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Approximately 100 orders are received on Wednesdays, 50 on Thursdays and nearly 100 orders on Fridays.

• Orders must be processed online via QKR by 9.15am. No cash orders will be accepted.
• Personal lunch bags (reusable or paper) must placed in the classroom tub by 9am.
• Alternatively, paper bags can be bought via QKR for 20c with your food order.
• Reusable bags can be purchased from both the canteen and uniform shop.

If you experience problems with QKR, please provide a lunch from home.  Also, contact the office as soon as possible with the specific error code/message to enable us to help resolve the issue.

If an order is late or forgotten and you cannot provide food to your child(ren) by lunch time, then a Le Snack and fruit will be offered.

STRICTLY NO CREDIT

Please remind children that items such as milkshakes, milos, ice creams and icy poles need to be collected from the canteen window at lunch time. Noodles may be collected prior to the bell.

Their lunch order needs to be shown.

Canteen duties include:

9.15 am - Placing QKR labels on bags

10.00 am - Filling bags with snacks, sauces etc         

10.35 am - Recess counter sales

11.10 am - Food preparation           

12.00 pm - Filling bags with drinks

12.10 pm - Filling bags with hot food

12.30 pm - Making milkshakes, milos, noodles

1.00 pm - Lunch counter sales

As you can see, there is a lot to do but the duties are light and easy and there is fun to be had by all.

I can’t do it alone so I need your help.

Parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, carers, friends are all welcome. Even come with a friend!

Ideal hours are 9 am to 12.30 pm.

Apart from the obvious joy your children get when you’re rostered on, a free lunch is made for you and a free icy pole is offered to your child(ren) as a token of my appreciation!

QKR

Please update details on QKR and lunch bags.

• Please ensure your child(ren) have the correct details on QKR or their lunch might go missing.
• Make sure you've chosen the correct day for the lunch order.
• When ordering from Qkr, please purchase a lunch bag first, if you're not supplying your own.
• NO CASH ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED.  Please see the office staff for help loading QKR.
