Foundation Unit / Year 1

News..

What a fantastic first week it has been for our new Foundation and our returning Year One students! We have been learning all about what happens at school, how to make friends and singing lots of songs. We’ve been practicing our numbers by counting how many days we’ve been at school, learning the Soundwaves chant and decorating our classrooms with our beautiful work.

We’ve started taking home readers to practice our reading at home and are developing our independence. In the next few weeks we’ll be meeting our Senior Unit buddies, which is very exciting!
