Welcome back to everyone for another year of fun and learning.  And a very big welcome to all those who are new to the school and the community.  I can’t wait to have another year of fantastic books, great borrowing and chatting to all of our students about the books they are currently reading, thinking about reading and have enjoyed reading!!

Furthermore, I look forward to helping all students in becoming enthusiastic readers, careful researchers and sensible in the use of information!

Students visit the library on specific days per class (as per the timetable) Mondays - Thursdays for book exchange.

Please encourage your child to enjoy and take care of our library books and return them on time so they may borrow more. Also, please enjoy the library books WITH your children!  If you are enthusiastic about reading and books, so will your children.

Scholastic Book Club

Our school is participating in Scholastic Book Club this year and catalogues were handed out to students this week. Up to twice a term, during the school year, the Book Club catalogue will be sent home offering a different selection of books suitable for all ages and a wide range of children’s reading levels and interests. It is easy to order. Orders can be placed by returning the order form to school for processing for payments of cash or cheque. The Book Club LOOP platform for parents allows you to pay by credit card. Your child’s order is submitted directly to school and the books will be delivered to class. The webpage example is shown below.

Your support of this programme helps supplement the school’s purchasing as each order helps earn free books and teaching materials for our school, however there is never any obligation to order.
