Food Technology
It has been a very fun term in Upper Primary. We made some dishes using native edible leaves, such as lemon myrtle chicken skewers, strawberry gum muffins and anise myrtle biscuits. We also made some old fashioned foods, such as club sandwiches and scones. The students loved getting their hands dirty and trying some new foods. I encourage families to do some cooking over the holidays which will help your child maintain their kitchen skills, particularly their knife skills.
