Hot Cross Bun Drive
The College will be running a Hot Cross Bun Drive to raise money for Project Compassion. Order forms will be sent home with students this week. Please complete the form for your family and return with the correct money to the office by Thursday 31st March. Help us raise money and pre-order your Hot Cross Buns today!
Ethical Student Leaders
On Thursday 3rd March, six of our Year 12 student leaders attended the Sandhurst Diocese Ethical Leadership Day at The Woolshed in Kialla. The day included many activities and presenters, including the Executive Director of Catholic Education Sandhurst, Mr Paul Desmond. The presentations included learning about key leadership skills, the importance of being kind and how leadership involves bringing others together, rather than pushing for work to be done. Many schools from across the Diocese attended the day and were able to build on their prior skills to exhibit positive leadership.
St Augustine's Writing Competition
We are excited to have our St Augustine's Writing Competition up and running again for 2022!
We have two age groups, 5-8 and 9-12. Our theme this year is Good vs Evil! Have a look on SIMON for more details for each age group and to see what the prompts are you need to respond to.
Submissions close on the 29th of April, so plenty of time to write something and submit it! If you have any questions, see or email Miss Anderson.
SOLE Stars
Congratulations to our Weeks 5 and 6 SOLE Stars.

Safety First
Before School Supervision
For safety reasons, it is really important that all students arrive at school from 8:30am onwards. We do not have supervising staff on yard duty before 8:30am. The LOOP is available for before and after school supervision if required due to work hour commitments.
Driveway Reminders
- We have two staff on driveway duty at the end of each day to ensure the safety of all children. We wish to provide a smooth process of cars moving through our driveway at the end of the day. Please ensure you do not leave your vehicle unattended in the driveway at any time. This causes great distress to the staff and other parents wishing to move into the driveway.
- Travel speed is limited to walking pace in the driveway to keep our students safe.
- Please follow the directions of our staff wearing hi-vis vests and the STOP sign used at the driveway entry. Do no enter the driveway when the STOP sign is being displayed at any time. At times the staff member may indicate that you need to drive around the block and come back.
Let’s work together for a smooth pick-up and keep our students and staff safe.
