COVID-19 | Changes to Close Contact Procedures

Dear Parents and Guardians,

The College has been advised by the Chief Medical Officer of changes to procedures for Middle and Senior School students. This now means that Middle and Senior Secondary students who identify as close contacts and have symptoms and are positive, must remain at home.

As soon as the student no longer has symptoms and returns a negative RAT then they can return to school. This may be before the 7-day period.

For example, a student may identify on the Monday that they are a close contact and have symptoms resulting in a positive test. In this case, they are not able to attend school. If on Thursday, for example, they have no symptoms and have a negative RATs result they can come to school but must return a negative test for the remainder of the seven days.
