 Casey Tech School Enterprise Program

Over the course of the 3 days, students develop solutions to industry challenges. These challenges encourages students to think outside the box, develop their enterprise skills and become confident leaders within the field of STEM.

On day 1, students are given assistance in developing their own ideas for solutions, focusing on plausible approaches to their ideas. Master classes were also provided to quickly upskill students in working with maker space, humming bird, sustainable Prototyping, virtual reality and video creation.

On day 2, students attend the final rounds of master classes in using Arduino, mechanical prototyping, making bioplastics, using CAD and marketing their prototypes. Students also gained the opportunity to work on their solutions in preparation for their final presentations. Critical friends are assigned to help students reflect and improve on their projects.

On day 3, students complete their presentations. Students presented to industry professionals who promoted these challenges that students focused on.

I would like to congratulate every student that participated in the excursion. Every student conducted themselves with great maturity and are sure to become an inspiration to future generations.
