Don't forget to join us this evening from 6.00pm for our Online Course Information sessions, where we will be discussing all things related to Year 9-10 course selection in 2021.

Our Director of Curriculum, Wendy Forsyth, will be online to answer all your curly questions, and to provide you with any extra information and guidance that you might need.

Please refer to the emailed instructions about how to join the online sessions at 6.00pm (Year 9) and 7.00pm (Year 10) and further meetings with Learning Area Coordinators. Parents and carers are also welcome to attend.

Before logging in, we recommend all participants get cosy and come armed with a hot beverage and a notepad and pen.

For further information about the subjects offered in Year 9 and 10, please refer to the Course Guides, which you can download from our website via this link

Book a personal tour with us

Prospective students and their families are warmly invited to book a personal guided tour of St Mary's College.

Our school tours are an ideal way for families to ask questions in person, and see our classrooms in action on a regular day at the College.

To express your interest in taking a tour, please contact the College on 6108 2560 or email enrol@smc.tas.edu.au

Places are available for Kinder 2021, and there are limited places available for other year levels, including Year 3.

Student medical information

A reminder to all parents who have students with medical conditions to please ensure the office has a current copy of the relevant action plan. This information can be forwarded to studentmedicalinfo@smc.tas.edu.au.

It is imperative that Senior students who require an EpiPen carry it with them at all times. EpiPens for Junior students are held in the Junior School workroom for Prep to Year 6 and the Kinder classroom for Kinder students.

ICAS English 2020

In 2020, students in Year 3-6 will once again have the opportunity to participate in ICAS English.

ICAS (International Competitions and Assessments for Schools) is developed by UNSW Global, a wholly owned subsidiary of UNSW Sydney, with more than 30 years' experience in educational assessments.

The assessments are suitable for students wishing to extend themselves academically and take up the personal challenge of competing in an international assessment.

This year, the ICAS English competition will be held online on Tuesday 25 August.

For more information about ICAS, or to register your child for the competition, please email Jenny Noble (Extension Program teacher) at jnoble@smc.tas.edu.au by Friday 24 July
