Virtual Ensembles Invitation

Members of Concert Band, Symphonic Band, String Group and Chamber Strings should check their ensemble’s Newsfeed on Compass for informatin on the Department of Education (North Eastern Vic Region) Virtual Concert Band and String Orchestra projects. This is a great (and free!) opportunity to be a part of a massed on-line recording project involving secondary school instrumentalists from all across the Region. Students need to sign up for this opportunity by 27 May.

Free Online Learning Platforms

Information has been distributed to all Instrumental Music students and parents with regard to SmartMusic and AMEB Theory courses. These platforms are free until 30 June, and are of immense value to all students studying an instrument and/or participating in a music ensemble. If your son/daughter has not yet started to explore these opportunities, please encourage them to do so as soon as possible during this period of remote learning and before they revert to their usual cost.
