Daily Exercise at Tally

The Tally State School Fitness Extravaganza has kicked off with a bang!!

Students and teachers have loved getting out for some daily fitness challenges. Our sport captains have done an amazing job ensuring that the equipment is setup correctly in the morning for all the classes.

The program encourages teamwork and community spirit, provides daily fitness for our students and releases endorphins to encourage a positive attitude, growth mindset and perseverance.

Along with our Morning Moves program, the Tally Fitness Extravaganza allows students to challenge themselves physically everyday and it has been great to hear the feedback about students improving their skills throughout the week.

Keep up the great work Tally!

Workout Wednesday and Fitness Friday

Workout Wednesday and Fitness Friday are still happening at 'Drop & Go'. Keep an eye out for Tally’s very own super heroes doing their daily exercise before school.

Oceanic sport

Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, a decision was made by South Coast Sport last week to cancel the Oceanic Track and Field carnival next term. There has also been a restriction on Oceanic Sporting Trials for the remainder of the year with only the boys and girls cricket and girls softball trials going ahead for selection this year.  Eligible students have been notified at school about the district sports available and the nomination process.

School Carnivals

At this stage, we are hoping to have our school cross country and athletics carnivals next term. Both carnivals will be in accordance with the return to play restrictions and the safety of our students and community will be at the forefront of our planning. We thank you for your patience and understanding. Students will be working on both their cross country and athletic skills during their HPE lessons.

Have a great week
