Planning Week
Last week, our classroom specialist and support teachers engaged in facilitated planning sessions to create detailed unit plans and assessment tasks for teaching next term. The half-day planning sessions are an integral part of how we plan the delivery of our curriculum and how we collaborate to make sure every student is provided with a pathway to achieving success in their learning.
Early next term, parents and caregivers will be emailed the Term 3 Curriculum Overviews. These overviews aim to provide families with a snapshot of the curriculum being taught for each year level next term.
Student Learning on Fire!
We have been very impressed with the level of student work we have been seeing, leading up to assessment time this term. Our students continue to amaze us as they work hard to produce high quality work that they are proud to share. Well done Tally kids and keep it up!
Reports
Semester one reports are being emailed on Wednesday morning of this week. Reports will look slightly different this semester as students are only being assessed on four subjects: English, Maths, Science and Health. Semester two reports will be back to normal.
'Drop & Go'
The "Drop & Go' zone is running smoothly with most students gone by 3.20pm each day. A good tip to remember is if you have a child/children in the older grades of years 3, 4, 5 and 6, you should aim to collect them at around 3.15pm to get in and away quicker.
Happy Holidays
We hope you have a great winter holiday break after this very unusual term. We will see you all back at school after the holidays on 13 July 2020.
