Dickins Room

What a week we have had at Kinder- sun, rain, hail and muddy puddles!

Our three year old children have loved the time to play with trains, the marble run and to paint! They were so excited to get outside on Monday and a little put out that we didn't go out into the wintry weather on Friday. This weekend is Mother's Day (you're welcome - for the reminder for all the dad's.) Can you please check Seesaw for instructions around making a special gift with your child.

Our Marram class had a good week also. We made the most of the warmth on Tuesday- focusing on the children's well being and mental health, we visited the oval and played with balls, explored autumn leaves and lay on the ground and watched as the clouds flew by. These moments are ones that you can do from home, supporting your child to be in the moment and connected to nature and their own identity.

Thursday we went splashing in muddy puddles and made Pizza!!

We can't wait to do it all again this week.

We had a very cold week, however, we did manage a few moments to walk around the school. Gawarn group loved finding some puddles and even more so – finding ducks trying to swim in them.

Both groups are loving the (dry) autumn leaf collage and painting as well as some creative construction work indoors.

Outdoors have seen our play equipment being ‘restored’ as they make use of the tools. Great collaborative work to construct a new building in the block area.

Mother’s Day – please make sure that if you are not attending onsite that you pick up your Mother’s Day pack which will still be available Tuesday 8.30 – 4pm.

It has been wonderful to see the amazing work both at kinder and through Seesaw . We look forward to seeing our families back when they are ready to join us.

Have a super week!
