Aerobics

The school Aerobics Team has been announced! Well done & congratulations to those keen students who have taken on the challenge of entering the State Aerobics Competition! What a wonderful time we are going to have!!

Music at the Market

On Saturday 17th March, Selected music students from Year 9 and 10 performed at the Chelsea Heights Primary School Easter Market. Besides a little wind, the weather was near perfect and the band shone bright in the morning sunshine. The band played on for a solid half hour and won over many new audience members over the duration of the performance, including the organisers of the market who were ecstatic to have such a high quality of live music at their event. The music staff would like to thank all the students who volunteered to perform and their commitment to rehearsing together on Friday afternoons prior to the event. Well done!

Term Two

Monday 9th April - School Holiday Rehearsal and Costume/Set Working Bee 9am-4pm

Tuesday 17th April 9am-4:30pm All Day Rehearsal
Students will not be in classes, except for VCE Students who will attend where possible

Wednesday 25th April No rehearsal due to ANZAC Day

Tuesday 8th May 5pm-8pm Production Movie Night. Theme: Disney Characters

Wednesday 20th June 9am-5:00pm- All Day Rehearsal with the Band Students will not be in classes

Monday 9th July School Holiday Rehearsal and Costume/Set Working Bee  9am-4pm


Term Three

Tuesday 24th July 9am-5:00pm- Dress Rehearsal.
Students will not be in classes

Thursday 26th July- 11am and 7pm performances.
Matinee to Primary Schools, students will not attend classes this day

Friday 27th July- 11am and 7pm performances.
Matinee to Primary Schools, students will not attend classes this day

Saturday 28th July- 1:30pm and 7pm performances

Tickets:

Tickets will be released in May. You will be able to purchase tickets online or through the office.

Children/Concession $15

Family $60 (2 Adults and 2 Child/Concession)


If you wish to support the show then get in early to buy your tickets, our last show sold out in record time. Please note that matinee tickets for the Thursday and Friday show will be released only if seats are available.

PRODUCTION PARTICIPATION FEE:

Cast members will need to pay a non-refundable production fee of $50 as a sign of good faith and commitment to this endeavour. This contribution will go directly into the production account to help with costs of the insurance, the play rights, costumes, set, make-up, props etc. This cost will also include a 2018 branded ‘Beauty and the Beast’ Production t-shirt. Payment should be made at the General Office and paid by Thursday 29th of March, as stated in the audition pack. If the fee is not paid, students’ positions within the cast will be forfeited.
