Class of 2017

Year 12 Final Day
The Year 12 Breakfast and Final Day Service marks the end of full time classroom commitments for the Class of 2017. Friday 27 October saw this day finally arrive for Year 12 students, allowing them to spend the day celebrating their achievement of completing five years of secondary classroom study.
The day began early with Endeavour College staff preparing and serving breakfast to the students. Year 12 students were then treated to a celebratory gathering in their respective Villages where their teachers and peers showed their gratitude and appreciation for their involvement in the Endeavour community.
Following the respective Village celebrations, the Year 12 Final Day Assembly was held in the Endeavour Centre in front of all students, staff and many proud Year 12 parents and family members. The assembly was predominantly student driven with the creativity and humor meeting with approval of the viewing audience. The theme for the assembly was ETV, a take on the 1990s MTV. This then gave many of the learning areas and extra-curricular activities a chance to present a humorous take on skits and videos like “Lip Sync Battle” and “Welcome To My Crib”. Ms Vogt and Pastor Dale also announced the new College Captains for 2018. The service was completed with a ceremonial procession, welcoming the soon to be senior students of 2018.
A special thank you must go to the Final Day Assembly Committee, Mr Richards and the 2017 College Captains who helped put together a most memorable show. The day was one of happy memories, but also mixed emotions for our Year 12 students as their time as Endeavour students is drawing to a close. I would like to wish all Year 12 students the best of luck with their upcoming examinations and look forward to celebrating with them for one final time at the end of year Valedictory Service on Thursday 23 November.
To all Year 12 students, congratulations, and God bless.
