Year 7 Endeavour Way Day
On Thursday 26 October we had our final Endeavour Way Day for the year. It was great fun and really helpful, because we learnt even more about Endeavour and its values. Something that was different to the other Endeavour Way Days we’ve had was that we were given a scenario about a conflict between two students. It was great to learn that, if something were to happen to us, how the staff would handle it. Of course, we all got to know each other a little better and it was a great day with lots of fun and activities.

Teddy Bears’ Picnic
On Thursday 2 November our Year 9 Food Technology class hosted a Teddy Bears’ Picnic for pre-school aged children and grandchildren of our staff.
It was a real joy to see the children enjoying the food and games the class had prepared for them. The Year 9s spent a lot of time thinking about food choices that would be appealing to young children whilst being as healthy as possible. They also were able to re-live their own childhoods by thinking about games they had enjoyed when they were young.
From my point of view, it was particularly entertaining to see three Year 9 boys trying to control a game of Duck, Duck, Goose!
Overall, it was a very successful event and the students should be very proud of what they achieved.
