Teddy Bears Picnic

It's Teddy Time!

It’s that time of the year again! What time, you may ask? Well, of course, it is time for the annual Teddy Bears' Picnic! The Teddy Bears' Picnic is a community run event in which young ones (or teenagers - we don’t judge) are encouraged to choose their favourite teddy bear/soft toy to bring t to the Moama Soundshell for a night of friends, fun, and free stuff!

Not only will there be live entertainment, but goodies like showbags, snow cones and face painting, not to mention the wonderful parade of teddies and their owners. How better to show off a favourite cuddly friend?

The event will be happening a week from 5 - 8 pm next Friday 3 March. But,  don't be fooled by the fast approaching date - the committee running this fun filled night have been working tirelessly since Term 4 last year to ensure a good time is had by all.

The committee is made up of many students ranging from Year 5-11, and we have all been assigned sponsors to liaise with, stalls to organise, and others are working tirelessly to pack showbags as we speak. Our work is far from over - there are decorations to put up and snow cones to make, as well as teddy and fairy costumes to be worn (for more information and chances to see these entertaining outfits, you must, of course, attend the night!).

Everyone on the committee has enjoyed working hard, hoping this night will be as spectacular as possible; so please, bring down your young one along with their favourite furry friend to see how our hard work has paid off!

Sincerely, the Teddy Bears' Picnic Committee and everyone involved.
