Music on the Lawn

On October 29 the College’s Music department staged it’s third annual Music on the Lawn.

On a perfect evening in terms of weather, an audience of well over two hundred family and friends enjoyed a range of performances from both the classroom and instrumental/ ensemble elements of our growing music program.

Particular highlights included the College’s jazz vocal group, the performances of student led rock bands and the spectacular Drum line.

It was also great to be able to have the girls from the Senior Band at Kilbreda College combine with the boys from our Senior Concert Band to present a bracket of pieces including Happy, Theme from Rocky and Jump.

Many thanks to the Music, Audio-Visual and Canteen staff who enabled this evening to occur. It was a great way for our senior students to end their year of music making and provided an impetus to those junior ensembles that are performing at up- coming events over the next few weeks.
